Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm CST, at the Delta Marriott Hotel Bessborough, Saskatoon (601 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon S7K 3G8, SK). This hotel is the closest hotel to the main CPEG meeting venue, 4-5 minutes away on foot. A buffet-style dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.

About the Webinar

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT 

Keynote Address: Bone Fragility Presenting under the Umbrella of Child and Youth Protection: What Every Bone Health Consultant Needs to Know.

The Keynote Address will be followed by an interactive “case walk-through” that addresses the same topic in a step-by-step fashion facilitated by multi-disciplinary experts. The event will finish with 10-minute oral presentations (interesting case reports or original research).

Trainees, faculty and allied health professionals are all welcome to attend! As in the past, attendees will receive 3 CME credits, with the event accredited by the Canadian Society for Endocrinology and Metabolism.

The deadline for submission of 300-word interesting cases or original research abstracts is January 01, 2024.Abstract selections will be made known to attendees in early January 2024 by the Abstract Selection Committee; both trainees and faculty are eligible for oral presentations. Abstracts should be submitted to KidsBonesCanada@cheo.on.ca by the deadline.

Registration opens on 15 October 2023 and is capped at 100 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration can be found at bonescanada.org. The registration deadline is also January 01, 2024; there is no fee for this event.

In addition, the 9thAnnual Scientific and Educational Meeting of the CCCBH will serve to kick off the CARDS(Canadian Alliance for Rare Disorders of the Skeleton, a patient-targeted affiliate) 2024 Virtual Series.
